- Assimilated by the Borg in 10904. After being retrieved in time to survive as an individual, he returned to normal. However, he is left with 3 implants - one near his small intestines and 2 visible (one on his forehead and one on his left arm). During assimilation his right eye was removed, and has been replaced with an artificial one.
- Lost left leg, under the knee, from a phaser blast on Stardate 10908.30. Replaced with prosthetic limb shortly afterwards.
