Ship History
From her 1st launch, the Pendragon was a deep space exploration vessel doing scientific research. Then in 9000 she was recalled to participate in the war. But being an older vessel, they needed some crucial updates/refits and were sent to space dock. They were there when the peace was called. SF decided to go ahead and give it a complete overhaul with all the paraphernalia and high tech items available before sending her back out.
During this overhaul/refit, most of the crew was reassigned to key places in SF where they were needed. A few loyal crewmembers asked to remain with their captain until she turned over the ship to the new CO. Captain Harlan in return asked if they would remain aboard with the new crew while the bugs were worked out. The Pendragon basically came straight from the shipping yards to SB 78 to her new crew to be launched for her next chapter...
