Family History
Billy's great grandfather was the first man in his family to join Starfleet. Within twenty years he was promoted to Captain of the USS Alabama, which was destroyed fifteen years later by two Klingon Battlecruisers, while protecting a medical colony.
Billy's grandfather was a Starfleet engineer on the USS Excelsior and was promoted to first officer on the USS Ranger. During the Cardassian War, Billy's grandfather was killed when his ship was ambushed.
Billy's father was a Chief Security/Tatical officer on the USS Washginton when he was born and his mother was serving as a communication's officer on the USS Jackson. At the age of three his parents divorced and Billy lived with his mother on the Jackson. Within six years Billy's mother was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and made first officer.Before Billy was accpeted into the Academy, Billy's mother was promoted to Commander and was placed in charge of Starbase 317.
