Mez was born on Earth when his Mother, Dr. Syado (a prominent biotechnology researcher on Bolarius IX) had come to stay on Earth for approximatly two years with her husband (curently LtCdr. Vef, the Chief Science Officer aboard the USS Atlantic [Not an ACTD Vessel]). He was raised primarly by his mother, as his father was constantly kept busy by Starfleet, but always enjoyed the tour of whatever ship his father happened to be assigned to. He spent a good portion of his childhood on Bolarius IX, and it was there from which he applied to join the academy.
Standard 14 years grammar/high school education on Earth and Bolarius IX. Four years Starfleet Academy training, with specialization in Engineering and Astrophysics, and an extention course in Flight Control.
Cannot receive blood transfusion from Vulcans.
Blue skin, ridge running down the center of the skull, as is standard with Bolians
