Family history
Brent’s love for science and astronomy spawned from his parents. His father, Joseph Sanford, met his mother, Hilary Stratton on the Science Vessel Chandrasekhar. Though Brent was born on Earth, he joined his parents on many deep space scientific assignments.

It was on the Chandrasekhar where Brent and his family lived the most. On one mission, the Sanfords discovered a temporal black hole, the first of its kind. The effects of anything near the black hole resulted in the de-evolution of the crew. Luckily they were able to escape the black hole and were returned to normal.

Growing up on the Chandrasekhar allowed for Brent to learn much from his parents and it gave him an edge in entering Starfleet Academy though he did not follow in the footsteps of his parents. Instead, he studied in the Operations sector.

To this day, Brent’s parents are still serving together, but no longer on the obsolete Oberth Class Science Vessel. They now serve on its Nova Class successor, bearing the same name.

"Assimilation is complete..."

The website and the ODN are no longer separate entities. No jumping from one site to the other to get information. We have added to our technological distinctiveness to become one. The process of rebuilding the front-end is still ongoing. Making "a" website... that's easy. Making a website that uses all our content over decades... that's hard.
