Being Minaran, she is empathic and has a sensitive nervous system which is capable of absorbing the physical and emotional responses of another, permitting her to heal the injuries of others by transferring those injuries onto her own body. This is the reason why she wears gloves. However, she will over-load her system when she assists another, and will ususally pass out as a result until her system is able to "right" itself.
Being Ullian, she is telepathic (able to send as well as receive) and is able to read the minds of many species, though she herself is unreadable by certain other telepathic groups, particularly Betazoids. Her telepathic abilities include psychokinesis, (telekinetics) and mind control.
She is well diciplined and normally only uses her telekinetics abilities when angered, startled or surprised, or when under extreme stress.
