His father was an administrator at a housing coordination center on the outskirts of Seattle, while his mother worked as an elementary school teacher.

Henry was the first of the family to join Starfleet; his brother, Eric, became a deep sea archaeologist, working at various sites all over the world.

His sister, Sara, was assigned to the USS Scimitar.

Due to the Pharaoh being short-handed, Henry vigorously studied tactical systems and procedures in order to take over as Chief Tactical Officer.

Various notes on his record show he can be stubborn, and never backs down when he believes he's right. He also appears to have issues respecting authority at times.

Highly intelligent, defensive and distant at times.

Occasional shakes when near consoles, due to an accident while assigned to the USS Triton. Not serious enough to prevent duties.
