Montaug was born and raised on the Andorian homeworld, but always felt a deep gratitude towards starfleet. He wasn't as violent as his siblings, and lived very passively. His family isn't rich in the slightest, all parents worked long hours at various jobs. He was born first, and devoted himself to education, hopefully to keep his own family out of poverty.
Montaug did very well in Andorian schools, but struggled to graduate Ensign from Starfleet Academy. Though he was intellegent, he couldn't easily grasp combat like andorians were expected to. None-the-less, he graduated as an Ensign.
He fractured his left arm when he was a child, mended perfectly. He is currently in the experimental 'neuter' phase, though he is "male" by human comparison. Being in this phase he is highly sexual due to the hormones and care-free upbringing. He seems to be able to have controll over this, and isn't a psychological or medical condition.
Has a standard andorian pair of antenae on the top of his head (closer to forehead than back, .13 cm each). Has deep, navy blue skin. Has not entered marriage phase yet.
