Family history
The middle daughter of a merchant family, Tria displayed a love of adventure from early childhood. Her family respected her outgoing and fearless nature, and encouraged her to join Starfleet as soon as she was of age. Secretly, however, they were hoping she got it out of her system and returned home to marry Patian, a farmer. After a long engagement, Tria returned home intending to proceed with the wedding ceremony. For reasons unknown, however, she refused to complete the final step of the bonding ritual, and the marriage was declared unconsummated and therefore . Several months later, Patian was found murdered. Local authorities investigated, but no charges were laid initially. Some time later, at the insistence of the victim’s family the case was re-opened. Tria was charged with murder and convicted. Due to extenuating circumstances, her sentence was light and she was released to the custody of Starfleet. More recently she was engaged to Lieutenant Commander Pindari Rofax, Chief Tactical Officer of the U.S.S. Pendragon. Again, Tria called off the ceremony, but mysteriously Pindari still lives.
Like all her species, she considers human courtesy dishonest. While she learned to withhold her personal opinions unless asked, those who work closely with her come to value her sometimes brutal honesty. This trait makes her, however, poorly equipped for diplomatic situations. Rumours abound that she possesses an explosive temper, but repeated psychological tests show only an overdeveloped capacity to think rationally in the grip of intense emotions.

Education
She did well in all subject areas at the Academy, but was most drawn to duties requiring quick reflexes. Although she was an excellent pilot, she found it tedious unless in combat. She found her niche as a tactical officer. Short statured and light-boned, she was effective due to her quickness and coolness under pressure. Unfortunately, her lack of fear caused her to be impulsive at times. As she matured and developed more responsibilities, she learned to think strategically before acting. An excellent tactician, she was placed on the command track, serving as Executive Officer of the U.S.S. Pendragon under Captain Zax and then as Captain of the U.S.S. Pharaoh. Following her arrest and conviction of killing her ex-fiance, she was demoted to Commander and placed on the U.S.S. Tal-War as Chief Tactical Officer

Several months later, she made contact with Starfleet Command from her home planet. She claimed to have been healed by Gilthanas, a creature who apparently inhabited the U.S.S. Pendragon. Sightings of Gilthanas have been reported by other reliable sources, including the Chief Medical Officer who witnessed similar miraculous healings. Ship’s sensors detect no trace of her and her species remains unidentified. Physical examinations of Kyrron show no evidence of injury from the explosion.
