Family history
Zor and Pel had a non-traditional marriage as it wasn’t arranged from childhood. This was because Zor was an orphan
It was at The Vulcan Science academy where he met Pel who was also studying medicine. During their graduation ceremony Pel gave birth to their son Rel.
After 40 years as a medical doctor Zor decided that current diagnostic equipment was unsatisfactory. He decided to change that and earned a Doctorate in Engineering. He developed many advancements in medical diagnostic tools and cybernetics still used today.
His daughter was born in a hovercar that crashed in a Vulcan swamp. All the insects in the swamp inspired his interest in Entomology. Which is why he earned a doctorate in entomology at the Vulcan Science Academy.
Zor left Vulcan for the first time in his life to attend a medical conference on Starbase 74. Interacting with so many different species and Starfleet officers inspired him to join Starfleet.
He also has an interest in gardening and plays the Vulcan Lute.

Medical profile
Zor has congenital anosmia and can only smell using a device he invented called a Zoria, which is implanted in his nose. In Vulcans congenital anosmia causes reddish or blondish hair
