Fong was raised in a non-traditional home on Ferenginar. His father, a low-ranked liquidator was wealthy enough to hire tutors for all three sons, and then once the third son was born he refused to renew Loki's contract. Without a 'mother', for his sons, Cuack secured a Betazoid 'servant' by the name of Nannia Suder. At the age of seven, he was enrolled in a private school and left home. Outside of holidays, he did not return home until his seventeenth birthday. On that same day, he left Ferenginar in hopes of finding business off-planet.
His father arranged a marriage contract for him. The marriage was unsuccessful, and no children were born to the couple. They lived together for three of the five years, however, the contract was ified when Fong's business license was revoked. After the couple was separated one male child was born.
Private tutelage until adulthood at 17.
Enrolled Starfleet Academy age 29, with Star Fleet Captain as a sponsor.
Graduated in the top 70% of class age 35.
Major in Starship Operations.
Minors in Engineering, and Linguistics
Low grades on the firing range.
Poor performance in Command simulations.
Commandant's Review: Solid officer, Good grasp of the required science. Lacks Drive. Not Command material.
