Erasmus' father moved the family to work as part of a terraforming colony. Columbha serves as doctor for the group. Sharren leads the biological development team. Ilsa is completing a degree in mechanical engineering on the Gallamite homeworld and will return to the colony at the end of the term. Burkhon works at the colony in botany.
Raised on a terraforming project from the Gallamite government, Erasmus has a versatile knowledge base. He has learned about topics as diverse as improvisational engineering, metallurgy, chemistry, medicine and artistic design. Through the academy, he also did well in all of his core subjects, as well as the subjects associated with his major.
