Alexandra Margarida Gomes

Alexandra’s parents own a business aimed at supporting newly found colonies, both logistically and in counselling. Her father is trained as a civilian engineer and her mother as a Starfleet counsellor but she left active duty before Alexandra was born. He grandfather was also a Starfleet officer, having reached the rank of Captain on the USS Gateway when he was reported MIA. Alexandra never met him until years later while serving aboard the Elara she rescued him and his crew from a time loop they had been imprisoned on.
She has two younger brothers, both of whom joined Starfleet a few years after she did. Both of them have modest careers, Ana Isabel is a counsellor and Marco is an FCO who could have gone far had he not plenty of reprimands. Before he joined the Academy he had even once stowed away on Alexandra’s ship.
While Alexandra was growing up the family moved around. She was raised mostly aboard a Space Station orbiting Venus. Later the family moved to Mars but kept a house on Earth to which Alexandra calls home. All in all she is happy with life behind the 4 walls of a ship, being a true child of the 24th century.
