Family history
Corbin's father, Eric Dal, was a respected xenobiologist and his mother, Natima Dal, was a civil service worker. During his adolescent years Corbin's father was off-world on Betazed. When the Dominion invaded Eric became one of the many civilian casualties. Corbin was quick to atempt to enlist in Starfleet, seeking revenge, but was rebuffed due to his young age.
