Elim Talom

Elim grew up in an unforgiving patch of Cardassia Minor. His parents were constantly struggling to make ends meet, but despite their misfortunes the family lived happily and stood by their own values. When Elim and his sister were old enough to begin advanced education the family found itself in bankruptcy. Elim's parents desperately joined the military in the hope that the income would be enough to sustain them and their children. For a while all of them were happy, Elim and his sister could choose any life and any career they wanted, but all of that changed once the Dominion arrived.

Under the brutal iron fist of the Dominion Cardassia Minor along with all Cardassian colonies, decayed. Elim and his sister were forced into harsh labour to help fund the Dominion's war effort. Elid and Mekbar couldn't stomach seeing their offspring in such turmoil, promising their children they would liberate them they joined the Cardassian Rebellion. The two parents fought bravely for the rebellion's cause, but they were eventually killed once the Dominion located and destroyed the rebel bases.

In the final days of the war Cardassia Prime was in full revolt with civilians sabotaging all infrastructure and communications in an attempt to rid themselves of the Dominion. Cardassia Minor followed in it's own mock revolt, creating chaos and unrest on the planet. Elim and Trem wasted no time in doing their part. The Dominion reprisal was fierce, but they were eventually successful. Their parents had kept true to their word so the two siblings would, Trem moved to Cardassia Prime and joined the military vowing to avenge the deaths of her parents.

Elim also vowed to avenge his parents, but he would do so in a different way.
