Jaimie grew up in Colorado Springs on a cattle ranch. Although Starfleet plays a prominent role in her family history, she is the first of her siblings to go through the academy. Her aunt is a Captain on the USS Minotaur and her grandmother an Admiral at the Academy.

Went through accelerated elementary and senior level schools. Accepted to the academy at age 15. Graduated at age 18, the youngest a cadet can graduate at.
