The Kyri symbiont is over 190 years old. Torvynn is the Kyri symbiont’s 6th host.
Previous hosts:
1st Host: Dr. Talani = PhD in Trill Law/Member of the Symbiosis Commission
2nd Host Dr. Peran = PhD in Engineering/Starship Design
3rd Host: Orvek = Diplomat
4th Host: Lt. Jennor = Science Officer on USS Renegade
5th Host: Lt. Cmdr Savina = Chief Tactical Officer and 2nd Officer of the USS Oberon – retired after Dominion War
Torvynn went through the testing to become a host but on the recommendation of his Field Docent went into Starfleet. Torvynn received the Kyri symbiont when he was home on Trill after graduating from the Academy. He met and struck up a friendship with Savina Kyri in a hospital when his mother was having minor surgery. Savina was close to dying and requested Torvynn become the next host of the Kyri symbiont. The Symbiosis Commission approved and two days later Torvynn became the 6th host of the Kyri symbiont.
HOBBIES:
Stage magic, Origami, and aerial silk circus performances, phaser target games, and tinkering on small electronics like tri-corders, phasers, and PADDs.
