Family history
Though quite a few Caitians have joined Starfleet, StarWatcher is the first Caitian from Ranee IV. His father, TailTwister, is a Ranee delegate to the Caitian Tribunal Government, the Caitian's form of democratic government. StarWatcher's mother, SunSpot, is the village bard and travels from village to village and to all of the Caitian colonies sharing and trading stories and songs to preserve the Caitian history.
At the Federation standard age of 6, StarWatcher was bonded to Rainstorm, whom he already knew and valued as a friend. Two years after reaching the Age of Acclivity, the formal bonding, or Pprunsaerre, took place. Due to his apprenticeship and then acceptance into SFROTC, both StarWatcher and RainStorm have decided not to have children until settling into his first posting.

Education
After passing the Ressessroea (roughly translated "Trial of Acclivity) at the Federation standard age of 9, StarWatcher formally began his apprenticeship in astronomy and astrophysics. At the Federation standard age of 22, StarWatcher applied for and was accepted into the SFROTC at the campus on Betazed, where he majored in warp field mechanics (Professor O'Callahan) with a minor in diplomacy and space-borne and ground-based strategies (Zakdorn Professor Sirna Dezst).
Medical profile
Excellent at this time, however an early family history shows a profound loss of hearing to the males in late adulthood.
Other
StarWatcher's fur shading resembles that of an orange tabby with a large orange mane. StarWatcher also has a long (roughly 1.4 meter) prehensile tail which not only displays his emotions but he also uses where etiquette serves. StarWatcher's claws are manicured to standards allowed by Caitian customs in line with Starfleet regulations. Those claws may be extended or retracted at will, however if provoked, may extend subconsciously.
