Attended Oxford University faculty of Astro-Engineering for one year. Left school to pursue other interests. Three years after leaving Oxford, at the urging of his cousin, Seamus enrolled in Star Fleet Academy. I.Q. and P.C.A.S. aptitude tests scored high in extra-linear thinking and deductive reasoning. That, combined with a natural mechanical propensity led him towards a career focusing in the engineering discipline.
