Though the Knights are originally from Australia, they have been in Tycho City for three generations. Xander Knight, Othello's paternal great-grandfather, started the Knight-Flight Shipping Company. A modest freight company that has made a name for themselves by daring to take on the freight others won't haul. Known as a family of devil-may-care pilots, Xander, his son Gabriel, and his son Derek managed to keep their clients happy and business afloat. Othello and his brothers are supposed to carry on the tradition. All have been trained to fly, even the most treacherous points of space. Othello decided to follow his uncle, Derek's brother, and join Starfleet. Wanting more adventure than just what he was used to. Othello is very much like his father and grandfathers in that he holds onto that wild Outback mentality that Knight men (and women) have beenborn into since the clan's days in Australia.
Graduated Dyson High.
Attended the Forsythe Academy for Science and Engineering with a major in stellar navigation, xenobiology, and warp mechanics.
Attended the Oliver Flight Training school.
Attended Starfleet Academy.
Since last physical, Othello was determined healthy and fit for duty. Has a scar on left shoulder from a severe laceration caused by a knife during a fight at age 19. Has broken two fingers and his left leg. No diseases or ailments were found. Is allergic to cherries and is hypoglycemic. No other bronchial, cardio-pulmonary, or neurological defects detected. EKG,EEG,and EMG all indicate normal.
Athletic build; stays in good condition, mostly to impress the ladies. Has a small gap in right eyebrow. Has a scar on left shoulder.
