Family history
The Shores emigrated to Australia in the late 20th century, and prospered there. Gifted with both intelligence and imagination, their descendants also prospered throughout the ages. Born and bred in Alice Springs, Australia, Nicholas' parents worked for many years at the nearby military base at Pine Gap, in the field of bioorganic symbiosis, giving Nicholas a good understanding of Starfleet protocols from an early age. His sister is two years older than he is, and teaches at Alice Springs Primary School.
The Shores are also a family of musicians. The instruments played have always been quite varied - Nicholas’ grandfather (Graeme Shore) was a brilliant jazz drummer in his time, and his father had an affair with a guitar for many years, although his dedication to music always lacked. But Nicholas picked up a saxophone at the age of 10, and has played ever since.
Education
Graduated from Alice Springs University with honours; achieved acclamation for his theoretical and practical submissions in biochemistry; attended Sydney University, studying Phasic Cohesion and Bioorganic chemistry. Graduated from Starfleet Academy as Ensign
Medical profile
Nicholas has suffered very little from ill health
throughout his life. He is not allergic to anything, but he suffers
severely from vertigo and is highly superstitious.
Other
Tanned complexion, tattoo on back

"Assimilation is complete..."

The website and the ODN are no longer separate entities. No jumping from one site to the other to get information. We have added to our technological distinctiveness to become one. The process of rebuilding the front-end is still ongoing. Making "a" website... that's easy. Making a website that uses all our content over decades... that's hard.
