Jennifer Renee Selar

Jennifer Renee Selar was born to the parents of Justin McDonald and Jessica Selar in a small, quaint town on Betazed. Although Jennifer was the pride and joy of her parents for the first few years of her life, certain events transpired that caused the young hybrid girl to be placed in foster care at the age of 2 years old. After one month in the foster care system, Jennifer was temporarily adopted by a Vulcan female named Servek. For several years, Jennifer was raised by Servek aboard several Federation starships. However, at the age of ten years old, Jennifer was returned to her biological father’s care.

Jennifer lived with her father aboard the USS United where she received all of her pre-Starfleet schooling. Once she turned seventeen years old, Jennifer was accepted into Starfleet Academy. During her time at Starfleet Academy, Jennifer earned her degree in psychology. Following this degree, Jennifer was placed around Starfleet where she held the positions of Assistant Counselor and Counselor.

After several years, Jennifer made the decision to return to Starfleet Academy to earn her degree in medicine. She completed a residency aboard a Starfleet vessel and was then returned to Earth where she was then placed back into the position of Counselor. It seemed that Starfleet believed that was the position best suited for Jennifer Selar.
